Eve Tub Chairs: Take a Walk on the WILD Side!

The roots of tub chair design date back to the 18th century, when the furniture was the exclusive domain of royalty and the very rich. Probably taking their name from bathtubs, these stunning chairs offer that same feeling of luxury and enclosed comfort. Here at Russkell Furniture, we offer a delightful array of tub chairs; this edition of our blog showcases a dramatic update to our bestselling Kirby tub chair. Allow us to introduce you to Eve...

What makes Eve tub chairs stand out from the crowd is that they are upholstered using animal print fabric. The earliest human civilisations are known to have decorated their homes using animal skins and the trend has never been in decline ever since. Bringing an exciting and often unexpected design element to any room, animal print is full of personality and character.

What many people find surprising about animal prints is that, though colourful and highly patterned, they are in many ways neutral as they can work well with almost any interior design scheme from the traditional to the modern and from the minimalist to the maximalist.

When it comes to shape and form, the tub chair is pretty much timeless in its sophisticated elegance. Stood atop four sturdy legs that are tucked neatly beneath its base, the chair is characterised by its gently curving arms which rise to form a dramatically high back. The seat cushion and front of the chair conversely display strong geometric lines, creating a distinctive contrast.

The compact nature of these lovely chairs allows them to be placed successfully in even the smallest of rooms, even if the bathroom if you so desire! That said, the seat of an Eve tub chair is proportioned extremely generously so you can relax in total comfort.

There are no less than 14 different print options to choose from including Giraffe, Cheetah, Cow Leopard, Zebra, Dalmatian, Antelope and Tiger. Check out the product page and be amazed!

The Eve chair is based on our always popular Kirby tub chair, which can be supplied in a vast range of different fabric options so if you like the style but aren't a fan of the animal print then we have got you (and the chair!) well and truly covered.
