The first thing that probably comes to mind when you hear the word 'Blenheim' is the palace of the same name. Built to a grand scale and originally known as Blenheim Castle, the majestic building is set in seven acres of land. The palace, located in the Woodstock district of Oxfordshire in England, took over 17 years to build between 1705 and 1722.
Notable for being the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. The palace was one of the first houses in England to be built in the European Baroque style, which was famed for its unashamed flamboyance and ornate detailing.
Our designers have been inspired by these delightful features in their creation of the Blenheim collection of made to order furniture. Each piece showcases studded scroll arms which, generously shaped, both define the aesthetic of the furniture and enhance its already high level of comfort. Both the arms and the backs are deeply buttoned and there is an option to add an extra single line of buttoning along the front aprons.
